Black Feminist Brilliance

February 23, 2021

Tuesday, February 23rd | 4:00 - 5:00 PM| Zoom Link

Please join us as we celebrate and honor Black History Month by reading out loud and listening to quotes and passages from our favorite Black Feminist thinkers.  Everyone who wants to is invited to share the words of a Black feminist thinker/activist/artist or you are welcome to just show up and listen as a way to pay respect to the depth and complexity of Black Feminist Brilliance.  If you would like to read something out loud, please email me the citation information for a shared bibliography--so we can make sure to cite Black Women/Feminists. This event is open to everyone and is co-organized by the Women's and Gender Studies Department, the American Multicultural Department, the HUB Women of Color Collective, and Umoja Queens.
