2026 Campus-Wide Climate Survey

Background

Sonoma State University is committed to regularly assessing campus climate to strengthen belonging, equity, and institutional accountability.

SSU previously administered campus climate surveys in 2021 and 2023, building a foundation for understanding community experiences and informing campus action.

In 2026, SSU is partnering with the Higher Education Data Sharing Consortium (HEDS) to administer a nationally recognized climate survey that ensures confidentiality and allows for peer benchmarking.

This continued effort reflects our commitment to listening, learning, and taking meaningful action.
