In January 2020 more than 400 students from 25 high schools and 4 colleges convened at the Sonoma State University Student Center for the 7th Annual Mi Futuro Youth Symposium. Mi Futuro advocates for equity in education attainment, economic empowerment and health access. The event promotes healthcare careers for local youth, with the aim of increasing representation in mental and behavioral healthcare careers. The event included the Justice Center, keynote speakers, workshops and hands-on activities.
