Born in Sierra Leone, raised in London, and now based in Harlem, New York, Michael Mwenso is a musician, performing artist, Black music historian, and cultural guide.
All students, staff, and faculty are invited to join Michael for lunch and an inspirational conversation about our identities, the change we want to see in the world, and how we can be a part of working toward making that change a reality.
Students who attend the lunch will also receive free tickets to his show on Saturday, October 16th, Mwenso & The Shakes: Love Will Be Thee Only Weapon.
