Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead)

The DREAM Center and the HUB Cultural Center will be hosting a Día de Los Muertos event to honor our loved ones who have passed.
Altars and Ancestors, is a presentation with local Xicana Indigenous artist, Amanda Ayala will take place on Friday, October 29, 12:00pm-2:00pm outside the first floor of the library.
Join us as Amanda shares her own experiences with altar making and the connection she feels during and after the process. Amanda will also be presenting on different ideas and philosophies around altar making.
Following the presentation, students will have an opportunity to build an altar in community at The HUB Cultural Center. Supplies, pan dulce and coffee will be provided. We hope you can join us!
